Follow the email letter sample to write a follow up email after job application, a follow up letter after interview or submitting a resume is a reminder to the employer about the status of the job. Follow up email is a part of job search as an individual can’t wait so long for the response; they need to move ahead with other job offers. During the interview if the recruiter has said “we will inform you soon about the status” you should be in a position to ask “how many days will it take”. When the time frame exceeds you can quickly draft a email to the employer, which can some time remind him of the job position. If you don’t receive any reply from the company, start search for new jobs.
Below is a sample Job Application Follow Up Email letter.
Job Application Follow Up Email sample:
Dear Susan,
I am Bevan, I was so thankful to have an interview with you last week, I really enjoyed finishing all the four rounds in a single day. I have attended an interview last week on 22nd aug 2015 for the position of software engineer, I would request you check my status. I have applied as a fresher and the final word from the HR was that I would receive an email in a week. I have waited and still didn’t find any email.
Let me know my status of the interview, if am short listed I can stop my job search, as I have already been receiving job offers from 2 other companies. I would like to write down my skills once again, I have done projects on c, java and scripting. I hope you will recheck my profile and get back to me.
Looking forward to work with you soon.
Thanks
Bevan
